Transaction history
Everything done in the warehouse (receiving, put-away, moves, transfers, picking, shipping, adjustments, QA and setup), with who did it. Purchase orders and sales orders are not included. Managers only.
Purchase Orders
Only buyers (Purchasing) and managers work here. A draft stays private to Purchasing. The warehouse sees a PO in Receiving only after the buyer taps "Send to warehouse".
Inbound Receiving
Pick the PO for the truck at the door.
Zebra TC22 setup (DataWedge)
1. Create a DataWedge profile for Chrome. Output: Keystroke, suffix Enter.
2. Enable GS1-128 (UCC/EAN-128). So lot numbers read correctly, use Advanced Data Formatting to replace FNC1 (ASCII 29) with |.
3. From each GS1 case label the system reads GTIN (01), net weight in lb (320x) or kg (310x), lot (10), expiration (17), pack date (13) and serial (21).
4. Scan fields don't open the on-screen keyboard. Tap Keyboard to type a code by hand.
5. In Chrome, use "Add to Home screen" so the app opens like any other app.
Products on this PO
Tap a product to scan its cases.
LPs in this receipt
Tap an LP to see what is inside it.
Finish receiving
When everything on this PO is received, tap Receiving completed. The product goes into inventory right away (location: Dock until it is put away) and the buyer who created the PO gets a message.
Enter cases by hand (no label, or label without weight)
LPs for this product
Put-away
Scan the LP label. The system suggests a free location in the right temperature zone: lowest level first, same aisle as other LPs of that product. Then scan the location label to confirm.
Waiting at the Dock
On QA hold
Item Master
Every product in the catalog, separated by zone and category. Type a Product Code or part of the description and press Search to see what it is and how much we have.
Catalog
Inventory Control
Updated live. Product enters inventory when a receipt is confirmed. Product on a pick ticket is set aside and stops being available. It leaves inventory on ship complete.
Blank LP labels
Create LP numbers with no product yet and print their labels ahead of time. When receiving, scan one of these labels before the first case and that pallet takes the number. They also work in "Add inventory manually" and in the Excel import.
Add inventory manually
Creates a new LP directly in inventory, without a purchase order. Use it for opening counts, product found during a count, or returns. It is recorded with your name and role.
Cycle Counting
Count part of the warehouse without stopping work. A manager creates the count, the team counts location by location on the scanner, and the manager reviews the differences and posts them to inventory. In a blind count the scanner does not show what the system expects, so people count what is really there.
Analytics & Reports
Print or download the warehouse reports. Each one uses the live data.
Workforce Performance
What each person did in the warehouse: picking speed and accuracy, receiving, put-away, moves and counts. Only managers see this page.
Customer Accounts
Every customer with their orders, cases and pounds. Save contact and delivery details so the team has them at hand.
Lot Traceability
Find every case of a lot, EST, pack date, Product Code, LP or PO: which customers received it and what is still in the warehouse.
Sales Orders
Sales builds the order from what is available. The system assigns LPs first-expired-first-out. Released tickets go to the pickers' scanners. Once picking starts, only a manager can change the order.

Assigned to you first, then the open pool.

All products on this order
When you finalize, one 4×6 label per pallet is printed. Stick it on the pallet; Shipping scans it to load the truck.
Report a problem to the manager
Shipping & Dispatch
Scan any pallet label. The system opens its order and shows how many pallets it has. Scan every pallet as it goes on the truck; the order is marked shipped when the last one is scanned.
Ready to ship
License Plate Inquiry
Scan any LP label (or a location label) to see what is on the pallet, move it to another location or transfer cases to another LP.
Location Management
Code: Aisle-Slot-Level. A-01-01 is aisle A, slot 01, level 01 (floor); A-01-02 is the second level.
Order History
Every sale by day, month or year. Search an invoice (INV-…) or pick ticket (PT-…) to see the whole order. Prices and dollar totals are visible to managers only.
QuickBooks settings and how to import
Desktop: File → Utilities → Import → IIF Files. Online: Settings → Import data → Invoices. Customer names and item names must match QuickBooks exactly; import one invoice first to check. Each line is billed by the pound: quantity = net lb, rate = price per lb; the memo lists cases and case weights.

User Access Management
Everyone who can sign in, what they can do, and the roles. Only managers see this page.
People
Everyone who can sign in to the warehouse system. Click a person to change their access.
Personal information
The email is what they use to sign in.
Roles
Choose one or more. The person can do everything in all the roles you check.
Device access
Comes from the roles. A person whose roles are all scanner-only gets the scanner screens. Change it in Roles & permissions.
Permission matrix
Tick a box to turn a function on or off for everyone in that role. Changes save right away.
Roles
Rename a role, mark it scanner only, or add a new one.
System Settings
Alert emails, QuickBooks, product catalog, warehouse layout, labels and the activity log. People and roles are in .
Order-ready alerts
When a picker finalizes an order, managers get an alert at the top of this app. Emails listed here receive the same alert once email delivery is connected.
Purchase orders from QuickBooks
Purchase order PDFs made in QuickBooks are read automatically: from the PO mailbox once the server is connected, or with "Import from QuickBooks PDF" in Purchase Orders. Each PDF becomes a PO. Choose what happens next.
Practice with demo data
Loads 3 fictitious products marked DEMO and a demo purchase order due today, so you can try the whole path: receive, store, sell, pick, ship and print the receipt. On a computer, "Simulate a case scan" buttons stand in for the scanner. To test with the TC22, download the demo case labels. When you finish, remove the demo data and nothing else is touched.
Import from Excel
Bring in your product catalog, current inventory (LPs with their cases, weights, lots, expirations and rack locations), open purchase orders and the rack layout. Download the template, fill in the sheets you need, and choose the file. You see a preview with any problem rows before anything is saved. Your own spreadsheets also work if the column names are similar (Product Code, Description, LP, Location, Cases, Weight, Lot, Expires…).
Activity log
Tap any line to open the transaction and the LP, order or location it touched.
Product catalog
The GTIN ties a case barcode to a product. Leave it empty and it is learned from the first case scanned.
Load the fixed product list (product code and description)
Paste one product per line: code, then description (separated by a tab or a comma). You can add a third column with the zone: Frozen, Refrigerated or Dry (Frozen if empty). Or choose an Excel/CSV file with those columns. Products already in the catalog keep their barcode and price. The barcode (GTIN) is learned the first time a case is scanned.
Warehouse layout
One row per aisle: its name (letters, like A or B), temperature zone, number of slots and number of levels. Location codes are Aisle-Slot-Level, for example A-01-01 for slot 01 on the floor. You can't remove a location that has a pallet in it.
Location labels
One 4 × 2 in Code 128 label per location (for example A-01-01), for a thermal printer. Pickers scan them during put-away.
